The Apple Vision Pro is really unlike any other consumer tech we've experienced, with many exciting pros and some unseen cons. In this article, we want to articulate that experience within the context of how this could impact services and products for businesses and agencies.

Currently, no one can escape the product release of the new tech gadget from Apple. The announcement of the device had already made waves last year and has been officially available for purchase since February 2nd (at least in America). And as if someone pressed a button, a wave of YouTube videos, memes, tech reviews, opinions, and social media posts are now flooding the public, often revealing a skeptical and sometimes mocking view of the new smart glasses.

The pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation, which is merging into the virtual transformation. XR or smartglasses can combine physical and digital experiences and, therefore, have the potential to replace the smartphone in a more virtualized world.

Our created design system is the core pattern library of the SNIPES App. It contains everything from Atoms to Templates in order to build a coherent appearance, but also enfosters team communication through a language that everyone understands. With a priceless value our design system empowers efficiency from the start till end.

The evolution of web technology is exciting and has been driven by the desire for more engaging and complex experiences—from simple HTML content in 2-D to more advanced WebGL experiences in 3-D. However, achieving the necessary performance and quality on mobile devices has proven challenging, making it difficult to deliver truly rich and immersive 3-D web experiences.

The disruptive AI technology forced everybody in this profession to feel enabled or threatened by the new workflows that opened up. For us, it was clear that we wanted to fuse the technology with our roots in creating interactive installations. The possibility of giving users something at hand to form and create their own imagination instantly is vastly inspiring to us. We aimed to define a collaborative workflow between the user and AI, which is guided but still gives enough creative freedom.

In collaboration with Converse and the retailer SNIPES, we developed a branded minigame for the social feed of the SNIPES app. Our overall goal was to increase brand awareness among a young, fashion-conscious target group for the new Converse Pro-Leather and ultimately create a gamified path to the SNIPES store.
